‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2 spoilers: Who’s giving Sara Lance a pep talk?

Sara -The second season of “Legends of Tomorrow” may be on hiatus at the moment, but we know it will be coming back in late January with a new mission: Trying to stop the Legion of Doom at all costs. It’s pretty darn clear at this point that they mean business, and the team is really going to need to get creative if they want to figure out a proper way to neutralize them in their tracks.

Unfortunately, at the moment their biggest problem is pretty clear: Rip Hunter is no longer in their possession. At the end of this past episode of the show, we saw him captured — but it wasn’t quite the same version of him that the team remembered. This incarnation was in a different era, looked differently, and also acted differently — at the moment, it’s not entirely clear precisely how much he knows about the Rip Hunter we know before.

If you head over to the CW app, you can get a sneak peek for the winter premiere that features Sara regretting the fact that the Legion of Doom will have found their way to Rip before they have, which is largely dangerous because he, in some way that is not currently clear, could be one of the keys to ensuring that their plan goes off without a hitch to potential turn the universe around in their favor. As Jax tries to tell her in an elaborate pep-talk, though, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the team is done. They’ve always got the capacity to stop the bad guys, and they just have to figure out the proper way to execute it and be creative with their plans.

At the moment, it’s hard to deny the team’s place as the clear underdogs given that they’re up against an immortal, a super-powerful speedster, and a man in Malcolm Merlyn who has proven to be very resourceful, even if he doesn’t have any powers.
