‘NCIS’ season 14 spoilers: Jimmy’s in a scary situation…

“NCIS” is a show that tends to put many of its characters in life-and-death situations, so with that in mind, we cannot say that we’re surprised to learn that this is going to be happening again in an episode airing next month. However, what may be a little bit more of a surprise is just who is at the center of it.

The photo below (via TVLine) reveals that an upcoming installment (the site says it will air on January 24) will feature the character of Jimmy Palmer in a tremendous amount of peril after he learns that someone is threatening to jump off of the ledge of a building; being the helpful guy that he is, Palmer will do his part to change the mind of the person and bring them inside to safety. It’s too bad that this ultimately means him joining this man out on the ledge, which puts the two of them in a situation where one of them could end up losing their lives … if not both.

What’s also intriguing about this episode is that in addition to giving Brian Dietzen this great material to work with, there could be some other big reveal related to Jimmy over the course of the episode. Obviously, we have our theories, but we learned long ago that sometimes, speculation can be a tad tricky when it is misinterpreted as fact, so we will keep our theories to ourselves for now.

Without knowing too much more about the story, we’re excited simply because of the fact that Jimmy’s long been one of our favorite underutilized characters. Any chance to get more of him on the show is something we’re going to be very much pleased about.
