‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: How Kandi Burruss gets past Phaedra Parks drama

Kandi -

Let’s go ahead and kick off this particular “Real Housewives of Atlanta” article by confirming some rather-sad news: There is no new installment airing on Bravo Sunday night. Did you really expect anything different, though? It’s Christmas Day! This is not exactly the time in which shows are going to bust out new installments of something. They care about ratings, and airing a new episode on Christmas Day is all but assured to be a recipe for disaster.

So when the show comes back, it’ll be doing so on New Year’s Day! We’re honestly rather surprised about that, as well, but clearly Bravo feels some confidence that the show is going to get an audience after all of the celebrations are dying down. We’ve got the synopsis for this episode below, and it indicates a little bit further what’s going to be taking place when it comes to the aftermath of the nasty Kandi Burruss – Phaedra Parks argument that took place at the end of this past episode of the show:

“The juicy details surrounding Kandi and Phaedra’s disastrous lunch begin to spread like wildfire, leaving Porsha on a mission to defend Phaedra from the allegations. When Porsha and Shereé decide to confront Kandi about the drama, everyone is left speechless when new accusations are brought to the table. Meanwhile, Cynthia looks to get a different type of makeover, while her daughter Noelle and soon-to-be-ex Peter share a tearful reunion. Kandi celebrates her daughter Riley’s 14th birthday as Shereé deals with the cost of having expensive taste and Porsha takes an unusual exercise class to help spice up her new relationship.”

It certainly seems like Kandi is going to have a good distraction from the state of things at present with Phaedra, just as we’re also going to get a chance here to potentially see some entertaining stuff happen via Cynthia. For those of you who thought we were going to be free of some of the drama completely, though, it looks like Porsha may ensure that this doesn’t happen.

More than likely, we’ll have some further news on this episode before it airs — including some more sneak peeks!
