‘Timeless’ episode 11 spoilers: The aftermath of Garcia Flynn’s kill

Timeless -At the end of this past episode of NBC’s “Timeless,” we saw Garcia Flynn make a move that he personally felt would alter almost everything in the future: Killing David Rittenhouse. He was the architect behind the mystery organization that he held responsible for what happened to his family, and when you think about that, it’s pretty darn easy to figure out why he would want some element of vengeance.

However, he didn’t get everything that he wanted. Lucy would not allow him to murder Rittenhouse’s child, which may be in part one of the reasons why we end up seeing in the present no significant changes. This was confirmed in a new report from TVLine, with executive producer Eric Kripke noting that Flynn is going to be very displeased with just how little has changed as a result of some of his actions:

“Garcia Flynn will be doing a lot of investigating about what has or hasn’t changed. He’ll be angry that not as much has changed as he would have liked.”

Do we think Flynn is going to take that well? Probably not, which is why we’re going to be seeing over the course of the episodes ahead potentially more attempts by him to get what he wants, and now that he realizes that just taking out the ringleader didn’t do anything, odds are that he will probably try to take this to yet another level. We know that he is someone not to be trifled with, so we assume that he may be more inclined to take out any member of Lucy’s team that before if they get in his way.

We’ll get a chance to see whether or not our theory is correct here when the show returns to NBC with new episodes in January. There are only six left this season, and that in turn means that there is a lot of ground for the series to try and cover.
