‘This Is Us’ episode 11 spoilers: The aftermath of Toby shocker and more

If you enjoy “This Is Us” on NBC, we have to imagine that the past couple of weeks have thrown you for a loop trying to contend with the aftermath of one of the most stunning events of the entire series in Toby’s heart attack. We obviously hope that he’s going to be okay, but with this show this is never something that is altogether guaranteed.

On Tuesday, January 10, the show will be back with “The Right Thing to Do,” and while NBC’s not giving you the episode early, at least they offered up something that could make the wait a little bit easier today in some official details regarding just what you can expect to see over the course of the installment. Take a look below:

“Kate struggles with her feelings in the aftermath of Toby’s heart attack. As William begins to spend more time with Jesse, Randall has to get used to his father’s new relationship.  After receiving the news they’re expecting triplets, Jack and Rebecca must find a way to afford a home that can accommodate three babies. Olivia unexpectedly resurfaces, throwing both Kevin and Sloane for a loop.”

This makes it clear that we are jumping very far back in time at some points, and helping us understand that we’re going to see characters searching for a home while also starting to see more of what is going on with Randall and William. This is a show that never tackles one thing exclusively, so while Toby’s condition is probably going to be a focal point of the story, it won’t be anywhere close to the only thing going on. Just remember here that even if the worst does happen, it is not necessarily a guarantee that this will be the last we see of this character. The beauty of this show is that there’s always a chance, thanks to the time-jumping, that we end up seeing you again.
