NBC’s ‘The Voice’ rankings: Will We McDonald, Billy Gilman, Sundance Head, or Josh Gallagher win?
For everyone out there that loves “The Voice,” this is probably the beginning of a rather-sad week given that the finale starts on Monday night, and there are only two more shows left to go. We’ve also got an interesting conundrum in terms of trying to figure out just who is go win the whole competition at the end: We’ve got three singers in particular who’ve been fairly neck-and-neck almost the entire competition, but we know that only one will emerge as the victor when the dust settles.
Who will it be? As per usual, all we can do is give you a base idea, and we’re ranking based on performance quality, iTunes sales so far, and a little bit of coach popularity thrown in there, as well.
4. Josh Gallagher (Team Adam) – No offense to Josh, who seems like a great dude and someone who probably will have a nice career for himself after the show, but it’s hard to imagine any road where he wins this. He was the surprise entry into the top 4, and a guy who is, at least, likely going to be in around third place given that the country vote is probably going mostly to Sundance and there’s not going to be all the much, regrettably, that he can do to get more votes on his side.
3. We McDonald (Team Alicia) – We would very much love to see her end up winning the season, given the sole fact that she is probably the person best qualified to be a star after the show. Here’s the good news: With this being Alicia Keys’ first season, we imagine that We will especially hold a dear place in her heart, and she’s probably going to do everything that she can to make her into a star. She’s got the sort of mass-market appeal that any future star would need, so fingers crossed!
2. Sundance Head (Team Blake) – If Sundance was not entering the finale with another country singer in the mix, there’s a good chance that we would do something that we wouldn’t have imagined doing before the live shows and ranked him at #1. He’s shown us an ability to appeal to more than just fans of his genre; he’s got soul in his voice, and that unique ability to connect with viewers, even if it’s hard to see his facial expressions at times underneath the beard.
1. Billy Gilman (Team Adam) – What’s not to like about Billy right now? He’s an amazing singer with a huge range and can take on a variety of different genres. He’s got a popular coach, pre-show fame, and the sort of drive that would help anyone have a great career after the show. We don’t necessarily think that his victory is assured, but it would probably take a dramatic surge from someone else or a fall from him to get things to start to turn around.
Now, let’s turn this over to you. Vote for your favorite below!
