‘Shark Tank’ video: Sealed by Santa offers letters, videos from the North Pole

We promised earlier that we would back with one more “Shark Tank” preview before tonight’s episode airs, and we now have that for you below!

This video is all about one of the cuter ideas ever brought into the Tank, and it is absolutely relevant given the time of year that we’re in. It’s called Sealed by Santa, and in the video below Sarah Blain a.k.a. one of Santa’s favorite elves comes in with the pitch. The idea here is that this is a way to have personalized letters from Santa, plus a variety of other items including video messages, reindeer food, cookie recipes, and much more sent to someone who just so happened to make the naughty or nice list. The prices seem reasonable, so it’s not going to be a service that breaks the bank to use.

While this may be a seasonal business at its core, there is still so much potential for this company to make money given how many kids out there love Santa and would relish the idea of getting to have a letter from him. This can be funny, meaningful, or anything in between. You’re basically paying for the experience here more than anything else, and the company does seem to have that part of their process down pat.

Let’s hope that Sarah found herself another diligent elf in the form of one of the Sharks, given that we imagine a sudden influx of orders coming her way after this episode airs! With this price point and the seasonality of the product, this is the sort of thing that could blow up big almost immediately. Of course, the downside is that she probably won’t get the same return on repeats that many of the other traditional products do.
