‘The Bachelor’ stars Ben Higgins, Laurel Bushnell still unsure on wedding date

Mrs. Carter: Is there hope for a “Bachelor” wedding at some point in the future?

The answer to the question above is a clear yes; however, at the same exact time, there is no sign that this said wedding is coming in the immediate future. Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins, despite being the stars of a new Freeform reality series, are still in the process of trying to figure out precisely when the right time is for the two of them to tie the knot. For the time being, they’re not rushing it, and the most important thing is that the two of them are happy. Speaking to “Extra,” here’s what Ben had to say about the state of things:

“I think at this point, Lauren and I are focusing on our relationship, which is obvious. We’re definitely together — we are happily engaged. The wedding in our mind — ‘Where’s your ring at?’ — is still on, but we are just taking some time to help plan that where it’s not stressful or overwhelming.”

While we’re sure that they don’t want it to be so, the reality that these two are unfortunately facing at the moment is that they have to figure out who to keep things positive when the media consistently hounds them on the topic — and they will, especially when you consider the fact that they’ve had another reality show where they continue to talk about this topic further. It’s probably not going to go away for them unfortunately until they either decide to get married, or simply stay engaged for so long that people eventually forget. (We don’t want to mention the other possibility, since we’re trying to stay positive around these parts.)
