‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ reunion preview: Why did Heather Dubrow almost leave?

Heather -

Never do we ever feel like we can blame “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and its cast for contemplating doing something a little bit different. Let’s just put it this way: There are many times when this show is a dumpster fire. People are saying things that are controversial and then some, and it’s not that hard to come up with various reasons as to why someone would want to get away from all of it and do something else.

Well, the sneak peek below for Monday night’s Part 2 features one conversation in particular where Heather Dubrow admitted that she almost walked away from doing the series. Why was it? It had to do with a heated argument that took place within a Japanese restaurant that held a deep personal memory to her, and she decided in that moment that she was done being around fellow cast member Kelly Dodd, who was using some rather profane language that we won’t print here.

Everything that Heather says in this preview makes a certain degree of sense, mostly because of the fact that nobody wants to be around this sort of drama all of the time. Yes, she also did sign up for the show in the first place and choose to remain after the fact — at the very least to see this season through. It’ll be interesting to see in general if Bravo chooses to keep this cast the same moving into next season, given just how explosive it was from start to finish for the most part.

For the record, Kelly does have a reasonable counter that she fires back at Heather: She’s far from the only cast member to use this sort of strong language.
