‘NCIS’ season 14, episode 6 sneak peeks: The great sweater debate

To where a sweater or not wear a sweater? That is the question, and it’s at least one of the issues at the center of the sneak peeks that we’ve got for you below for Tuesday night’s new episode of “NCIS.”

Basically, Abby has a habit of knitting various things for people who join the team — it’s a way to make them feel more welcome, and also to forge a bond between all of them. It’s why Alex Quinn shows up to work wearing it — even though she realizes that is is not exactly her style to run around wearing this sort of thing, she is grateful and wants to make sure that Abby knows it.

Meanwhile, Nick Torres doesn’t seem as concerned with it. Despite Abby doing what she can to subtly push the idea of wearing it on Nick, he doesn’t seem altogether fazed. Our feeling, though, is that he will have an opportunity to put it on by episode’s end! If he doesn’t, it be disappointed to Abby and us both.

As for the second sneak peek, it starts off in a rather silly fashion as Gibbs works alongside a bumbling TSA agent in order to retrieve a woman at the center of an investigation. However, things take a serious turn when she tries to bolt, and he gets a full read as to precisely what her condition is. It doesn’t give us much of a sense as to where this story will go from here, but we do consider this to be a solid foundation to what will hopefully be a rather interesting episode all around. The team is slowly starting to get settled in!
