‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6, episode 6 preview: ‘Dark Waters’ and the story of Captain Nemo

There are some stories on “Once Upon a Time” that you know are coming almost from the moment that you first hear about them, and when it comes to “Dark Waters” next week, the title is a rather big hit.

Are you familiar with the story of “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”? If you are, you can at least boast that you’ve got a little bit more in the way of the story that is coming. Still, this is a show that does love its twists, and with that you do have to think that there are some more coming with this character that will be rather exciting. Personally, we are very much interested in seeing how all of this is going to unfold.

The promo below gives you the slightest of senses regarding what we are specifically going to be seeing with this show that makes it a little bit different than the source material. Hook’s full history with Captain Nemo will be revealed, and he will in turn also be recruited for some sort of mission. It’s not entirely clear just yet what said mission will contain, but odds are it will challenge the pirate, who already has quite a bit on his plate.

The one thing that we are perhaps the most hopeful about is that through this story, maybe we can get a chance of learning more about the sort of man Hook could become in the wake of everything that we saw tonight. He’s someone with this tremendous capacity for loving and caring for other people, but simultaneously, we’ve also seen him over time be this one-man wrecking crew who you don’t want to mess with if at all possible.
