‘Dancing with the Stars 23′ spoilers: Ryan Locthe, Terra Jole, and others’ ‘Memorable Year’ choices

Lochte -On Monday night’s new episode of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC, the show will be bringing back a theme that has become a crowd-pleaser over the years: Songs from the most memorable year of a given person’s life. This theme will allow for opportunities for all of the Stars to express themselves in a deeper way, and hopefully with songs that have some sort of attachment to.

If you look below, what you can take a look at is precisely what all of the remaining Stars will be dancing to, of course with a few of our own thoughts to go along with it.

Marilu Henner & Derek Hough – Viennese Waltz – “Surprise Yourself” by Jack Garratt – It’s hard to really judge this song choice in terms of learning Marilu’s most memorable year, given that it is a fairly brand-new one.

Laurie Hernandez & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – Paso Doblé – “Rise” by Katy Perry – This one is obvious: It’s gotta be this year, given that she just won the gold medal.

James Hinchcliffe & Sharna Burgess – Tango – “The Right Time” by Yves V featuring Mike James – Not familiar with the song, but we figure for James it could be any of the past few years.

Calvin Johnson Jr. & Lindsay Arnold – Jazz – “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell – For most NFL players, it tends to be either the year they were drafted, or the year that they won the Super Bowl. Calvin didn’t get to the Super Bowl, so we’re betting on more of the former.

Terra Jolé & Sasha Farber – Contemporary – “Stand by Me” by Florence + The Machine – Great song choice; for Terra, it’s really hard to determine precisely when this could be for her given that there are so many different events that have taken place in her life.

Jana Kramer & Gleb Savchenko – Contemporary – “In My Daughter’s Eyes” by Martina McBride – With this song choice, we imagine that her most memorable year is something more personal than career-oriented.

Ryan Lochte & Cheryl Burke – Contemporary – “A Song for You” by Leon Russell – Is it Ryan’s most memorable year, or year he’d most like to forget? We could almost see some of them being interchangeable at this point.

Maureen McCormick & Artem Chigvintsev – Foxtrot – “From the Ground Up” by Dan + Shay – On the surface, you would imagine that this would be one of the Brady Bunch years … right?

Amber Rose & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Samba – “Woman Up” by Meghan Trainor – It’s probably pretty recent given Amber’s time in the spotlight, but who knows?

Tell us some of your theories and thoughts on the week below. Tomorrow, we’ll be back at this link to look more at the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant rankings for the week. (Photo: ABC.)
