Is ‘Scream Queens’ season 2, episode 3 new tonight? First look at Halloween episode!

Let’s go ahead and get the bad news out of the way for those of you who are big fans of “Scream Queens” out there: There’s no new episode airing tonight on Fox. Given that there are plenty of people who find politics very frightening at the moment, it only seems appropriate that it would be preempted by something like the Vice-Presidential Debate.

The show will be back for new episodes on October 11 with an episode that will cover a few different stories, with one of the biggest ones being the further questioning of Hester, who seems to know something about what’s going on at the hospital.

For the sake of this article, we want to present you with something relatively new. With that, take a look at the synopsis below for the upcoming October 18 episode entitled “Halloween Blues.” The holiday is big in the “Scream Queens” universe, and with that it only seems appropriate that the Chanel-O-Ween tradition is coming back:

“After the latest attack by The Green Meanie leaves everyone shocked and saddened, Dean Munsch and Denise, along with Hester, devise a plan to catch the killer by throwing a Halloween party in the hospital. Meanwhile, Chanel celebrates a different kind of Chanel-O-Ween and attempts to make contact with the killer’s latest victim from beyond the grave. Once the party begins, an outbreak surprises the hospital, leading Brock and Cassidy to jump into action, and another victim falls.”

As for why the Halloween episode is airing a week earlier than it could feasibly given that the holiday isn’t until the 31st, our simple guess is that we’re getting close to playoff baseball. It’s either that or this is just where the story came down in production.
