‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Preparing for the Safety Ceremony

Jason -Today marks the first Safety Ceremony in the “Big Brother OTT” house, which sounds a little odd still to say given that we’re so accustomed to doing things a little bit differently. What’s going to happen here is that we will see Monte proclaim a few people to be safe — we’ve already heard that he wants to throw people off by naming Neeley early. We’re not sure that matters much.

We feel like right now in Monte’s head it doesn’t matter too much who goes on the block as long as Jason goes — Kryssie’s name has come up often, and she could be an easy target for him since they don’t have a tight alliance. The problem for Monte is that it looks like either Shane or Cornbread will go up on the block against them, and if there’s a sentiment of trying to make the fans happy in the house, we could see one of them being targeted.

Unfortunately, it’s not looking good for Jason. The Power of Veto Competition is Monday, so we’ll see what happens from there.

What we want to try to figure out over the coming days is if there is something about Jason’s game that causes him to often be in this sort of position. After all, remember for a minute here that he is someone who probably knows the game better than almost any other former houseguest in history, and he also has some of the perspective that comes with playing the game before. In theory, he knows why he lost, and should be able to do something in order to rectify the issue.

The problem that Jason continues to run into is almost that he tries too hard to be the superfan representative in some ways, and he struggles to make the sort of connections with everyone in the house needed to reassure people that you’re okay. Whether it is his personality or just his knowledge, there’s something about him that screams “threat” to other players. That is increased even more so in a season with huge public influence, given that people like Alex and Scott know that America loves him.
