‘Big Brother: Over the Top’ spoilers: Who ‘won’ the first Head of Household?

Over the Top -

It’s hard to call what we saw in the “Big Brother” house over the past 24 hours the first Head of Household Competition, mostly because it wasn’t so much that as a game of strategy / passing a hot potato around to see where it lands. In this case, we’re not sure HoH is something you should want, especially if you have to spend a lot of your social capital in the house in order to get it.

At this point yesterday, it was fairly clear that Monte wanted the power for the first week, and that is precisely what he has now after Whitney chose to “infect” Alex in her final move of the game.

What makes things a little messier from here is that the rules for this season are so different and winning HoH is nothing more than getting immunity. America chooses the third nominee for eviction, and Monte’s probably going to be thrown up there next week because he’s hardly endeared himself to the public over the past 24 hours with its typical-overconfident-Big-Brother-bro behavior. For example, if Monte puts up a pair like Jason and Danielle, it’s possible America will stick up there someone like Shane or Cornbread, who are two of his closest allies. Even superfan Scott could be in some danger.

From here, it’s certainly possible that a counter-alliance will have enough support to screw over Monte on his very first week. We know that the OTT Jamboree group (Kryssie, Jason, Scott, Justin, and Shelby) could end up voting out America’s nominee, especially since America will also get an eviction vote of their own here. The OTT Jamboree group also probably has more influence over someone like Neeley than Monte does.

Ultimately, we’d say that Jason is in big trouble this week if America wasn’t a part of the season. Because they are, this could be fairly unpredictable and fun.
