‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: Highlights from the first night
There was certainly something entertaining about the first night on “Big Brother: Over the Top,” mostly in that it’s something that we haven’t seen before in the modern era — people actually meeting each other for the first time on the feeds. It was weird, awkward, but also fun given that the getting-to-know-you process is very interesting.
At the moment, we’d say that there are no defined alliances, and that may be in part because we’re still so young into the game and nobody understands the rules just yet. There were a few individual things that did catch our eye.
1. Justin trying and failing to romance Danielle in the early stages. This hasn’t gotten to a Beast Mode Cowboy / Amber level yet, but it could if it keeps up for long enough. Dude’s pretty forward!
2. Scott being rather disappointed to discover there is no jury this season, and after years of auditioning, he makes it in the house on a season where he cannot play his traditional game.
3. After Jason entered, he proceeded to tell people a little bit about how the feeds work, which is a slight bummer in that it decreases the odds of oblivious moments from people who don’t know the show very well. It’s gotta be interesting for him to be the veteran of this group.
4. There is some hesitancy already to bring Jason along deep into the game, given that they realize America really likes him.
5. Jason’s already on to Morgan and Alex being sisters, but he’s yet to do anything with the information. On a separate note, why did Morgan and Alex go into the game sporting the same hair color? We would’ve at least busted out some hair dye to make this a little bit harder to pull off.
Anyhow, we figure the first Head of Household Competition will be live on the feeds later, and we’ll give you some results of that as soon as we know them.
