‘The Flash’ season 3 spoilers: First official Tom Felton photo!

Tom Felton’s status on “The Flash” for season 3 has remains one of the largest mysteries. It was easy to be excited when his casting was first announced earlier this year, but other than his role (lab tech Julian Dorn) and his having fraction with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), nobody’s said a whole lot more about him.

While we don’t have too much more we can add to the mystery right now, we will go ahead and give you a small-but-lovely tease on what is coming courtesy of executive producer Todd Helbing to Entertainment Weekly:

“He’s a direct result of Flashpoint … Barry’s had that lab to himself, but now he’s got to share it with this guy, who doesn’t really like him and is kind of prickly.”

You will first see Felton in the second episode of this season, and we are still curious regarding what his long-term role on the series is. Maybe he turns out to be one of the Big Bads in disguise like Doctor Alchemy, or maybe Barry can eventually win him over. Given that Felton is supposed to be a significant part of this show, which means beyond just an episode or two, we’re really hoping that there is a larger plan that has been carved already in place for him.
