‘The X Factor’ UK: Does Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, or someone else have the best team?

X Factor -With the Judges Houses on “The X Factor UK” starting up this weekend, we thought we’d bring in an exercise that is always fun to take on this time of year: Which one of the teams is actually in the best position to win? There are some candidates across the board, and the good thing here is that we don’t think one team has a clear path all the way to the end.

Let’s go ahead and break these down; be sure to vote on which team you think is best below!

Simon Cowell – He’s got the Girls, and on paper, isn’t this almost always the best team? You’ve got the most pure talent present here, but other than Louisa Johnson last season, typically this category fails to get a ton of support from the British public.

Nicole Scherzinger – She has the boys, and there is some serious talent in here this year. Yet, you wonder about if someone like Christian Burrows, who has been a fan favorite so far because of his emotion, can overcome his vocal limitations. You’ve also got several acts who are fairly forgettable.

Louis Walsh – It’s a good thing that there are only a few groups heading to live shows, given that to us 5 AM and Four of Diamonds are the only slam-dunks he has right now. Scarl3t and Ottavio and Bradley have a certain degree of fierceness, but they’re risks. The Brooks and Yes Lad are decent, but neither are groups you can count on.

Sharon Osbourne – With Samantha Atkinson, James Wilson, and Janet Grogan, Sharon does have three performers who have what it takes to very well this season. If she moves forward with those three and avoids Honey G, she actually could be okay.

For now, we’re going with Simon as the best team, but we may actually say that Sharon is #2 just because of the array of talent that she has.
