‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2 finale: Will we see Chris again?

The second season of “Fear the Walking Dead” is going to be coming to a close with a two-hour finale airing on AMC Sunday night, and we’re going to have a chance to see a wide array of different storylines and events. Hopefully, many of them are going to be coming together, but there’s no proof when it comes to that right now.

At the moment, the larger question you should be asking is this: Are we going to be seeing Chris and what comes next there? Other than Nick, most other stories seem to be coming together, and Chris made such a harsh departure from his father. He has his new group, and you have to wonder if there’s time to get him back.

Speaking in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Dave Erickson luckily made it clear that we are going to see more news when it comes to Chris over the course of the next two hours. He also explained whether or not there was anything more that Travis could have done in order to ensure Chris and the group stuck around:

“I don’t think there was anything he could do, but I’ve got two teenage sons as well, and as a father, you will never forgive yourself for that because you will always second-guess, and you will always wonder. The reality is, if he had tried to forcibly make Chris stay, would he have faced a beating? Would he have ended up dead? That’s what Chris is worried about. But whether he should have done more or not — he’s always going to feel that he should and that’s something that Travis will carry now for the rest of the season and into season 3 as well.”
