‘Gotham’ season 3, episode 3 preview: Enter the Mad Hatter

Tonight, “Gotham” season 3 is continuing along the story of Oswald’s political aspirations, while at the same time also giving us a little bit more of Fish Mooney. We’ll have a full review of everything that happens following the episode airing, but for now, we’re here with a few details regarding just what is coming up on the series next week.

The title for this upcoming hour is “Mad City: Look Into My Eyes,” and it appears as though Jervis Tetch a.k.a. the Mad Hatter is going to be making his first appearance in what could be an interesting arc. The synopsis below makes it clear precisely why he is coming to town in the first place:

“Hypnotist Jervis Tetch/Mad Hatter (Benedict Samuel) arrives in Gotham to search for his sister, Alice (guest star Naian Gonzalez Norvind), and hires Gordon to help find her. Meanwhile, Penguin decides to run for mayor and Bruce’s doppelganger begins to channel him, causing some confusion around town.”

For David Mazouz, we image that he’s having a lot of fun playing these dual roles this season; this episode could be a coming-out party for his new character, mostly because of the fact that to this date we haven’t seen “Bruce 2” really cause much trouble for Bruce 1. Overall, we imagine that there are going to be several interesting stories that are coming in the hours ahead, given that we’ve still got so many villains out there and with that comes possibilities. It all could come down to whatever way the writers decide to go with this story.
