‘Longmire’ season 6: What are renewal odds for Robert Taylor – Netflix series?

Longmire -Tomorrow, “Longmire” officially premieres on Netflix, and with that comes our quest once more to review every episode of one of our personal favorite shows. There’ll be a new review up daily, and we hope that this story proves to be every bit as epic and entertaining as what we saw during the fourth season, in our mind the series’ best.

For the sake of this article, let’s take a minute and look towards the series’ future. Our hope is that the show gets at least one more season to tell stories. Given the road that it took to get to season 5, it only seems fair that we get a previously-announced “final season” so that the story can have a proper send-off. The last thing we want for these characters is for it to be kicked to the curb without warning. We know it’s probably not one of the higher-rated shows on Netflix, but at the same time it may do an excellent job bringing subscribers to the service who may not be there otherwise.

The one thing that does frustrate us slightly is that we’re not sure how many casual viewers are aware that “Longmire” is going to start streaming tomorrow. Other than a trailer and some promotional photos, this show has received the fraction of the promotion of some of Netflix’s other recent projects, whether it be “Narcos” or the still-to-come “Luke Cage.” Who not give the show a little more press? Maybe they feel like it’s safe and the show doesn’t need the campaign, given that many of its devoted viewers will watch regardless. That’s at least what we’re hoping for now.

We’ll update the issue of season 6 after we get through of all of season 5; that way, we can at least offer some insight into where the story could go moving forward. For now, let’s just make it clear that we want a season 6 to happen, especially since we know season 5 is not intended to be the end of the road.
