Crime Dynamic Duos: ‘Major Crimes’ (Sharon / Andy) vs. ‘Bones’ (Booth / Brennan)

Duos -

The second round of our Crime Dynamic Duos voting series is upon us, and of course as a result of that we’re getting a chance to focus once more on some interesting pairings.

Today in particular, love is in the air as we are focusing primarily on two duos who just so happen to also be couples. Both have their own way of getting the job done, and it feels fair to say that both are extremely likable in their own way and effective at what it is that they do.

Major Crimes,” Sharon and Andy (6) – The first major upset of the first round, the “Shandy” fans came out strong and was able to throttle fans of “The Blacklist” and popular Liz / Red partnership. We feel like much of the appeal for these two comes from not only the quality of their work, but also their relatability as people. They may have careers that are a little different from the average person, but they go through the same struggles of everyone else. Sharon’s current struggle on the show as she copes with what happened to Dwight is a perfect example of her poignant humanity.

Bones,” Booth and Brennan (2) – While there was a little conflict between the two a little over a season back, we do think at present that one of the reasons for the ultimate appeal here is the stability that the two have. There’s just something some comforting about watching this show and seeing some of the cases these two take on, only for them to be able to come home to each other at the end of it. We know what they’ve been through, and that helps to make us all the more grateful for who they are now. We seeded these two high from the get-go, so it is certainly no surprise to see them here.

Now, we turn this over to you! Voting for round 2 is open until we get around to Monday, September 19.
