‘Zoo’ season 2, episode 11 review: Off to Pangaea

Zoo -

There are just two episodes left on “Zoo” this season, and based on what we saw tonight, we are definitely set up for a conclusion that looks to be, more than likely, all sorts of insane.

After all, here’s where Robert and Jackson seem to be heading: To Pangaea, which is where we could see what is the show’s version of Jurassic Park given that this is where the saber-toothed cat who could solve the issue of the cure and restore some normalcy to the world. Are there still some serious reasons not to trust Robert? Absolutely, but at the same exact time it’s hard to deny that he did some pretty badass stuff in here, as well.

If the cure can be obtained, then obviously the entire course of the show changes. Still, we have to think it can’t be that easy, can it?

The stories for the other team members proved to be entertaining in their own right, whether it be some more character development for Mitch and Jamie, getting to see Abe stare his past in the face, and Dariela and Abe actually having to learn to trust in a world where such things have proven to be fairly difficult to achieve.

Elsewhere, General Davies continues to prove to be horrible, using animal attacks as a way of further his own agenda: Encouraging people to eradicate and try and start anew. It’s a gruesome way to be, but can anyone be surprised by this guy’s methods? He’s power-hungry and cares little about the safety of others; he’s a terrible person, but also a strong villain and in part, that’s why we are amped to see the remaining episodes. Grade: B.
