‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Paulie campaigns to James
We’re not going to be hypocritical here when it comes to talking about Paulie and his campaign to stay alive on “Big Brother 18.” If we were talking about any other person, of course we’d be praising them for trying to find a way to stay alive in the game. Therefore, we cannot say Paulie is an awful person for doing the same thing.
Can we dislike him for threatening to quit jury, or for continually bringing up his ailing aunt seemingly as a way to get sympathy? Absolutely. If he cut that stuff out and strictly campaigned, maybe America would have a slightly more favorable reaction to him … with an emphasis on slightly.
Anyway, the primary argument that Paulie (following having to complete a pie, a task that came about following the Veto Competition) used to James as that he can be used as a tool to help him get rid of another physical threat in the game in Victor. It’s the whole “used me as a weapon”argument. He also of course brought up his aunt again. Even though James heard him out in the conversation and said he’d talk to Natalie about it, we don’t buy that he will actually entertain it for a split second. After all, keeping Paulie just means that he’ll have to go after him later, and there’s no reason to trust the guy at this point given everything that has happened. James and Natalie would also need the support of at least one other person.
Ultimately, Paulie’s goose remained cooked, but he keeps hustling. (Oh, and for those curious, he also dropped his pants when he was making the pie. You’re welcome, America.)

I don’t know whether to feel sorry for Paulie at this point. Have to give him props for trying to stay in the game without throwing his pal Corey utb, though. Around 2:40 am (this morning) he mentioned brother Cody’s acting career. Paulie said something that I hope is wrong about his younger bro. He said Cody could care less (although I’m sure he meant couldn’t care less) about his fans. If that’s true, Cody’s career could crash and burn before it ever gets off the ground. I know I’m not the only live feedster who caught that comment, too. Sure hope Cody won’t have to fix anything. At this point, the best thing Paulie can do for his family is keep his mouth shut and concentrate on staying in the game. I’ll say it right now, I pray to the BB gods that Paulie doesn’t have the r/t ticket. Paulie’s shelf life has expired for me.

I would be sick if he has the round trip ticket!! The only one’s I like in the game I like are James, Paul and Victor. Paul and Victor because they had the balls to put up Paulie!!

Agree about Paul and Victor. They are my faves in the F2. Paul’s a little crass but I love that type of sense of humor. He has me rolling with laughter most of the time. Victor is a beast at comps. Paulie hasn’t given him credit for his wins. Called his veto comp a crap shoot. Sour grapes on Paulie’s part, if you ask me. Victor had to win three physical comps to even get back in the game but Paulie (or anyone in the house) never even acknowledged it. Victor has earned his place in this game and being that he was previously evicted and now has a good chance of getting to the end, he deserves kudos for it. James is sweet to Natalie but I think his game has been weak again this season. I still like him, though. I am looking forward to seeing Corey and Nicole walk out the door. Have to say I’ve enjoyed this season of BB more than the last one.
