‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Chase McNary fans get one (possible) clue

Given that it could be several weeks still until the next star of “The Bachelor” is officially announced, we imagine that Bachelor Nation is going to continue to speculate over each and every clue that comes out — including even some of the most minor ones. After all, this is where we are at today.

Earlier this week, we mentioned that show creator Mike Fleiss promised that there was going to be some sort of clue as to the identity of the next Bachelor during “Love at First Kiss” when it aired on TLC. We saw that primarily in the form of a yoga date mentioned in the preview for the next episode of the show. Given that Chase and JoJo Fletcher had a yoga date on “The Bachelor,” many have speculated that this was the clue. Fleiss has since proclaimed that the clue was an extremely “subtle” one — which to us means that it could have been just about anything.

Personally, we would still be rather surprised if Chase does end up becoming the leading man. While we do think he had a pretty strong story arc and got some of the closure that he needed at the end of JoJo’s season, it came about after Luke already had a tremendous story that led to him being eliminated during an extremely emotional Rose Ceremony. Also, Luke more fits the bill of precisely what the show is looking for.

We still anticipate the announcement of the next Bachelor later this season on “Bachelor in Paradise.” Also, we figure that maybe this clue was so subtle that nobody has caught on to it yet.
