‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: The house meeting

Da'Vonne -Over the years, House Meetings have become iconic on “Big Brother” for being horribly unsuccessful. As a matter of fact, we’re not entirely sure if there has ever been one that has achieved precisely what it set out to … even if the one overnight did to a certain extent.

Basically, the goal of last night’s meeting was to make it clear to Frank that he was going to be kept on the block at the Veto Ceremony, and that he was the target to go home. That was achieved, though for the most part Da’Vonne, Michelle, and Paulie were the only people with the guts to say anything. Frank used this as an opportunity to praise them for having a backbone, and after that he and Da’Vonne did have an interesting and somewhat-productive conversation where he made it clear to her that Nicole was playing both sides, and everything he told her at the Head of Household Competition was legitimate.

Also, the two communicated further on some of Frank’s past misogynistic comments, and the two have a little bit more of an understanding as to where they each are coming from than before. He’s acting as though he’s fine with leaving, since he can do so before jury and get back to his life. He also encouraged Da’Vonne to work with Bridgette, since she will be fiercely loyal to her.

Will this change? It’s possible. The biggest argument that someone like Da’Vonne could have for keeping Frank is that if there is an “other side” to the house with Nicole and Corey among them, he’s a target to carry on and a threat that she could weaponize. It’s just hard to see her getting enough numbers to make it happen when there are so many locked-in votes to get Frank out of the game.

Also, you do have the whole Secret Room nonsense to worry about. That is not going away anytime soon. Sure, we know that the conspiracy theorists will come out if Frank gets it, but we really don’t mind so long as he continues to bring drama to the table. The only drama Bridgette seems to bring is with Big Meech over an innocuous eyebrow joke from a few weeks ago.
