‘America’s Got Talent’ video: Deadly Games return for Judge Cuts, are still awesome

AGT -Tonight’s new episode of “America’s Got Talent” is just about here, but before you get a chance to check that out, why not go ahead and enjoy the sneak peek below!

In this new clip via Entertainment Weekly, you can see the return of knife-throwing act Deadly Games, who came up with a few different ways to stand out versus the audition. While we’ve certainly seen the spinning wheel before, that does not make it any less terrifying that they were able to successfully pull this off. We do feel like sometimes danger acts do get a bad rap over doing similar things, since singers roughly go out and do fairly similar songs every time with a few iterations.

The most important thing about this duo is that they have something to go along with their incredible ability: Charisma. They know how to sell this act, and you can tell that they’ve had years of performing on stage and aren’t just some “aw, shucks” performers coming on here without any sort of understanding about how to sell the act to the audience. These two could anchor a show with some other crazy elements to it. We’re not sure knife-throwing alone makes an hour-long Vegas act, but imagine these two alongside sword-swallowers, fire-breathers, stunt performers, and acrobats. You could make it almost into an extreme circus that would be well worth the price of admission.

We’ll see how these two fare tonight, and we’ll have our full review published as the show goes on. Right now, we’re at least saying they’ve got a shot of moving on.
