‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 8: The road to production is underway

NCISThis fall is going to be an exciting time for “NCIS: Los Angeles.” After all, the show is moving to a new time Sunday nights, and we are very curious to learn as to whether or not this proves to be something beneficial to the show. It will have a little bit less in the way of genre competition, but at the same time, be subject to many more delays thanks to NFL football constantly tossing itself around the schedule based on when certain games end.

While we cannot say that filming is completely underway yet on this pivotal eighth season, we do at least have a little bit of good news right now: We’re getting close! The post below on Twitter from executive producer John Peter Kousakis is a little bit of evidence of this very thing.

For many shows, this week coming up is the beginning of production, especially ones that are either more serialized or have a pretty lengthy post-production attached to them. “NCIS: Los Angeles” does do a lot of episodes a season, so we know that it will not be too long before the cast is there shooting some scenes. At some point along the way, we hope that we do get a chance to learn a little bit more about some potential guest stars, or what the story for this upcoming season could be. We do think as a whole that there is a lot to look forward to.
