‘The Bachelor’ alumni Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici welcome son Samuel Thomas

Mrs. Carter: Sean and Catherine Lowe have another reason to celebrate this July 4 weekend!

Earlier today, the two parties, who first met on his season of “The Bachelor” a few years back, confirmed that they have welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy. Here is what Sean had to say in a post on Twitter:

“God is good! We had a healthy baby boy named Samuel Thomas. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support!”

Meanwhile, Catherine added the following in a message of her own:

“I’m in love with another boy, my son Samuel Thomas Lowe.”

One thing that we do immediately like on the onset here is that the two went with a name that seemed to feel right for them and with the child’s future in mind, and not just something that was weird for the sake of it. Now, the two have a chance to get to know the child better over the course of the weeks ahead, and we’re sure that we will hear from them in the future. After all, they remain one of the biggest success stories for the series; they are also not the only couple in Bachelor Nation currently expecting a child. Desiree Hartsock, who was a contestant on Sean’s season before eventually becoming “The Bachelorette” herself, is expecting a child with the man she picked on her season in Chris Siegfried!
