‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: Alec returns in ‘What Happens in Vegas’

Did you think that Alec was gone from “Mistresses” for good after fathering Karen’s child? While we cannot make any guarantee that the character is sticking around in the long-term over the course of the remainder of the season, we can at least confirm that you will see him once more on the upcoming July 11 episode entitled “What Happens in Vegas.”

The synopsis below makes it clear not only that Alec’s return will catch Karen by surprise, but that we’re also going to see Josh and Harry head to Vegas, and that there could be some problems that come up right before a big wedding finally takes place:

“Alec makes a surprise visit and turns Karen’s life upside down when he reveals something new in his life. April and Marc butt heads when it comes to parenting Lucy, putting a strain on their relationship. Kate discovers her new love interest has close ties to Joss and Harry. Joss and Harry get invited to Las Vegas by Harry’s new business partner, Jonathan, and Joss snaps unexpectedly just before they are to be married.”

Could we really see yet another problem for Joss right before tying the knot? At the moment, it’s something that at the very least has to be considered, and you have to wonder what could be holding her back. It’s hard to speculate without seeing the actual episode play out, so hopefully moving into next week’s new episode we’ll start to understand more. (Side note: It’s odd that there is a new episode airing on July 4, even if there is no “Bachelorette” airing before it.)
