‘Big Brother 18’ episode 3 review: The 8-Pack is born; the first BB Roadkill competition

Big Brother -Tonight on “Big Brother 18,” a new competition was born! We know it as the BB Roadkill Competition, and every week apparently something crazy is going to be done in that RV in order to allow someone a chance to nominate someone new on the block. It’s a big twist, and in the right hands, it could render someone’s Head of Household reign somewhat useless. It’s a little bit similar to season 15 in that regard.

Was it entertaining? Relatively, but we’re starting to think that the entire season this year was planned by teenage boys wanting to see women in bikinis. Basically, it was all about taking your clothes off quickly enough. Frank was the winner, and that spares the vets from facing any further trouble.

Aside from the competition, tonight’s entertainment came mostly from watching Jozea be so completely oblivious as to how everyone dislikes him in the house. He’s a mess! Eventually, Frank chose to nominate Paul, just to ensure that either him or Jozea left the game this week.

Also tonight, we had the debut of Category 4’s pixel costumes (which they’ll have to wear for the next week), Da’Vonne forming the 8-Pack alliance with the other veterans plus Michelle, Corey, Zakiyah, and Tiffany, and then also the new girls’ alliance featuring Bronte, Natalie, and Bridgette, which is arguably the least-secret secret alliance ever that Tiffany saw them making it. This was all entertaining, but we’re missing some really good players here! Most of the newbies are terrible, and we’re not even convinced that the vets are amazing yet, either. Grade: B-.
