‘Ride with Norman Reedus’ episode 3 video: Norman feels the effects of fame in North Carolina

The third episode of “Ride with Norman Reedus” is coming onto AMC this Sunday, and based on the sneak peek below, Norman’s friend and biking partner in North Carolina is in for a big surprise: Everyone wants to meet the man behind Daryl Dixon.

The sneak peek below shows a very sweet side to Norman, mostly since he stops before riding to take about a billion or so pictures with everyone that he runs into. Of course, to many of these people meeting him is the highlight of their day, and he recognizes that. Sure, we understand if you were to say “of course he’s nice because the cameras are there,” but we’ve heard nothing but great stories about him being kind to his fans even when there are no cameras around at all.

In the end, having so many people around is just an aftereffect of fame. We’re sure there are times when being surrounded constantly is difficult, but you just have to plan ahead for it or have a good disguise. In the context of this show Norman obviously doesn’t have that, since he needs to be immediately recognizable to viewers.

For those of you who are nature fans, we have a feeling there’s going to be some really cool sights in here given that Norman is visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains (or at least is riding through them) over the course of the hour. The show’s been entertaining and a good source of information so far; we’ll just see now if that continues.
