‘The Bachelorette’ notes: New Jordan Rodgers interview; Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell not watching

Jordan -There are a lot of different things happening right now within the world of “The Bachelorette,” so for the sake of this article, we figured it best to give you a snapshot of a couple of different things going on. Take a look at two of the stop stories we’re seeing this weekend.

An excellent Jordan Rodgers discussion – The excellent Katie Nolan recently had a lengthy interview with Jordan on her Garbage Time Podcast, and the two of them covered a lot of ground, whether it be his relationship with his famous brother Aaron (apparently, it’s complicated), whether he roots for the Green Bay Packers, and some of the various odds and ends on the show. It’s somewhat rare that you get an interview this lengthy with someone who is currently a part of the season still, but Jordan’s obviously been around the media before and knew not to do anything that would cause ABC to come after him with snipers.

Also, we should add in here as a warning that there is some language in the podcast, so be prepared for that.

Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell not watching – We imagine that it’d be a little odd for Ben to watch a season starring the woman he famously rejected after telling her he loved her, so his quote to People Magazine on the subject, while promoting his upcoming Freeform reality show with Lauren, makes sense:

“We actually haven’t been watching this season. Our life is really crazy. We travel all the time … [The Bachelor] was so good to us, but I think, instead of consuming ourselves for the last month and the next couple of months with more Bachelorette stuff, [it’s important] that we kind of just step away and take time for each other.”

Of course, now that time for each other will have cameras in their faces. We’re a little more surprises that Lauren hasn’t been watching, given that she and JoJo seemed fairly friendly and we know that they’ve at least spoken since Ben’s season.
