‘Masters of Sex’ season 4 spoilers: ‘New Girl’ actor David Walton aboard

The fourth season of “Masters of Sex” is very much in the thick of filming right now, and the great news for us is that it means getting a wide array of new casting announcements!

Specifically today, we’ve got something further when it comes to David Walton. According to a report coming in from Deadline, the actor (best known for “About a Boy” and “New Girl”) is going to play Abe Perlman on the Showtime drama. Specifically, Abe is a powerful attorney who is very good at his job, but more than that, he is a guy that loves making a name for himself at his job. This is way he may be keen to represent Masters and Johnson for a case that puts them in a head-to-head battle against the government.

We anticipate over the course of this season getting to see him execute a few legal showdowns, and maybe help to usher in a more free society when it comes to concepts related to sex. The expression of freedom is one of many things that is being fought for in this era, and we know that there were certainly many changes in society that happened between earlier in the sixties to 1968, which is when this season of the show is set.

Will season 4 be the one that gets people talking about this show once more? That remains to be seen, but we’re sure that the powers-that-be would love to get a little bit more discussion going in a positive form based on how the show was a little bit more polarizing for season 3.
