‘The Walking Dead’ season 7 star Norman Reedus on impersonators of Daryl Dixon, himself (video)

Norman Reedus remains a rather busy guy. Not only is he starring presently on the AMC series “Ride with Norman Reedus,” but at the same time he’s also filming the seventh season of “The Walking Dead” and has found the time somewhere in there to also appear on late-night talk shows.

The video below is an appearance that Reedus made on “Conan” earlier this week promoting his unscripted series, and in this clip he talks a little bit about something that he has started to hilariously pick up on over time: The surprising surge in people who want to impersonate him in some way. Specifically, he recounts a story in which a friend of his found someone in a hotel who once impersonated his character of Daryl Dixon on the weekends, and then him the rest of the week. Hilarity, of course, ensues.

As funny as most of this is, we do feel like it has to get pretty frustrating at times for Norman since there are so many people who probably do want to be him; heck, there are plenty of fake accounts on Twitter to go along with his one real one. Luckily, he seems to be the sort of guy who takes almost everything in stride and is pretty great to his fans.

“Ride with Norman Reedus” airs on Sunday nights; rest assured that we’ll have a further preview for the next new episode up a little bit later this weekend. Stay tuned.
