A number of actors over the years have expressed a desire to walk the Comic-Con show floor disguised as one of their favorite celebrities — but perhaps known of them have done it as effectively as Justin Timberlake.
In a new post on Twitter, Esquire writer Chris Jones (who is currently working on a piece featuring the singer / actor) revealed that he and Timberlake did spend a good amount of time at the convention dressed up — and no one ever had any idea:
“If you were at Comic-Con yesterday, and you took a picture with a sketchy Bert and Ernie… I was Bert. Justin Timberlake was Ernie … I would pay good money to see the faces of the teenage girls who had no idea Justin Timberlake’s arm was wrapped around them.”
Jones also said that the idea to do this was actually Timberlake’s, who was at the convention primarily to promote new movie “In Time” but decided to have a little bit of fun to go along with it.
How incredible do you think this is that Justin went around undetected, and how embarrassed do you think some select fans are now?
