‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 4, episode 4 preview: Could Cat be pregnant?

Through much of “Beauty and the Beast” season 4, we’ve had a chance to see Cat and Vincent try to figure out how to balance their lives. How do you think that could change if you bring a kid into the mix? Something would have to give, and we’re not quite sure precisely what that “something” is. All we can really tell you is that it would change their lives once more, and we have to figure out what the synopsis below really means to interpret it further:

“While working to uncover who is after Vincent (Jay Ryan), Cat (Kristin Kreuk) discovers she might be pregnant. A lead Vincent follows puts his life in jeopardy. Meanwhile, J.T. (Austin Basis) gets kidnapped in a case of mistaken identity.”

Ultimately, we do think that the operating words had to be “might be pregnant,” mostly because of the sole fact that she could be wrong. It’s possible that there is no baby beast on the way just yet, but even if this pregnancy doesn’t stick, one of the most important things that could come out of this episode is that the two characters are going to at least start to think about what starting a family could look like. Who knows? Maybe it’d inspire them to have a kid a little bit later on down the road.

As for the JT storyline, let’s just hope that at some point over this episode, he starts to find what he’s looking for.
