‘The Night Shift’ season 3 spoilers: A jury verdict leads to chaos

Night Shift -There are several different indicators of what we’d call present-day America, and protests are one of them. Specifically, we’re talking about protests of racially-charged situations that have occurred involving shootings and the enforcement of the law. While we cannot say precisely how these indicators are going to find their way into the fabric of NBC’s “The Night Shift,” we can nonetheless tell you that they will be a focus to a certain degree of the upcoming June 22 episode entitled “Three-Two-One.”

Most other stories that we’ve seen on this subject over time have tried to take a look at this more from a police perspective, but for the sake of this medical drama, we’re going to see what happens when they have to treat someone responsible for causing so many of the problems in the first place. Take a look at the synopsis below for further details:

“As the city erupts in violence over an impending jury verdict, the night shift becomes ground zero when they have to take in the man suspected of the racially-motivated shooting at the source of the unrest. His presence in the emergency room sparks sharp conversation and disagreements among the staff over the highly-charged topic and even close friends Kenny (JR Lemon) and Paul (Robert Bailey Jr.) find themselves at odds. Topher (Ken Leung) does his best to control the mounting chaos in the ER while out in the field, TC (Eoin Macken) makes a decision as to which of two patients to bring in, leaving Paul and Scott (Scott Wolf) to question TC’s motives.”

If the show finds a way to bring something new to the discussion and gives us a new perspective, it’s definitely something we’re compelled to watch. We’ll just have to wait and see what transpires when we are a little closer to this episode airing and more information is out there.
