‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: Lana Parrilla sets up many questions
The sixth season of “Once Upon a Time” is going to be coming to ABC at some point in September / October, and with that, of course there are going to be many things that diehard fans are excited to know. We don’t have all of the answers right now, but we know that we’re going to have a chance to learn some of them rather quickly.
One of the biggest mysteries when it comes to the Regina character in particular is how she could handle the presence of the Evil Queen existing outside of herself, but given that this is something relatively out of her character’s control, that’s not something Lana Parrilla chose to discuss further to Entertainment Weekly. Instead, she opened up more about some of the emotional choices that we could see Regina tackle moving forward in the way of Robin Hood’s death, coupled with the reality that there is now yet another baby that she could have to share with another mother:
“Will Baby Robin be magical? … Will Zelena and Regina continue to have a healthy relationship now that they’ve reconciled? Or will Regina end up hating Zelena for being the mother to Robin’s baby? I’m curious to see what’s going to end up happening in that regard. Will she end up growing resentful that she can’t have children, but yet her sister has her boyfriend’s baby? I feel like that’s a story to be told. Are they going to stand side-by-side in a sisterhood or is Regina going to grow resentful overtime?”
If there is one person who really should find some sort of happiness following everything that she has been through on the show, it really does feel like it should be Regina. The main catch that ultimately remains there is how long it will take her to find said happiness, and if she will be able to keep the darkness at bay once it is there.
