‘Bachelor in Paradise’ won’t be getting Olivia Caridi of Ben Higgins’ season

While we feel like it’s in some ways almost guaranteed that we’re going to be seeing a variety of former Ben Higgins suitors from “The Bachelor” on “Bachelor in Paradise” this summer, there is one notable name left off the list: Olivia Caridi. Why is that? It simply seems to be a matter of her not being altogether interested in the gig at this time.

Olivia herself is the one who confirmed this very news in a new interview with none other than former “Bachelor” runner-up Courtney Robertson on her website, where she made it clear that she wants to focus on other things instead:

“I definitely won’t be making an appearance on Bachelor in Paradise. I’ll have a great time watching from the sidelines instead! Right now, I’m just looking to get comfortable in my new city, find a full time job, and give modeling a chance! I’m finally living in my dream city and I’m just so happy with where my life is at right now.”

It’s really not too big of a shocker that Olivia isn’t a part of “Paradise,” since typically the most notorious villains from the show tend to have almost nothing to do with the franchise moving forward. Does anyone out there remember Bentley from Ashley Hebert’s season? What about Kelsey? These are two other notorious contestants who didn’t want to have anything to do with the franchise basically from the moment that it came to a close.
