Is ‘Gotham’ season 2 new tonight on Fox? What to do while waiting

The past few weeks have treated us to a treasure trove of all things “Gotham,” as we think that the second season really has been a massive improvement over what we had the first time around. Was the finale a little bit rushed in spots? We think so, but it doesn’t really lower our opinion of the show as a whole.

It is because of it being so high-quality that we are now rather upset over the notion that there is no new episode of the show airing on Fox Monday night. May sweeps are now over, and therefore the vast majority of the 2015-16 shows are on hiatus for the summer. “Gotham” will more than likely not return until September, and there are some things to look forward to in between the Court of Owls (potentially the real puppetmasters behind what is going on in the city and also Wayne Enterprises) and then also the idea of finally seeing the Mad Hatter, who is supposedly going to surface at some point.

So what should you do during the long hiatus? There are a few easy suggestions we can name:

1. Tell everyone that the show is awesome – Really, there are a lot of people who stopped watching during the first season, and are really missing out on some great stuff in the process.
