‘Mistresses’ season 4, episode 1 video: On Joss, Harry, and ‘celebrity’ status

Can you believe that we’re almost back to “Mistresses” being on the air? It’s been a long summer of waiting, and on Monday night, it’s all over and we’re able to take a little more stock of what happened to many of these other characters since we last saw them.

We should start off here by mentioning that there is a slight time jump, and in there, some things will have changed for our characters. When it comes to Joss, for example, her relationship with Harry will be going strong, even though she is having to get accustomed to a different work schedule. He is now more of a “celebrity chef” than ever before, and there are many people out there interested in hiring him and getting his face on TV.

Is he famous to the extent that people recognize him on the street? Not exactly, since the sneak peek below makes it clear, at least from his perspective, that he still isn’t recognized for being anything other than the guy from “The Mentalist.” (We do find this especially funny, given that we do see some of that Simon Baker resemblance now that we are aware of it.)

Harry does lament in here that he was not able to help out more in the aftermath of Joss being attacked at the end of season 3; we’d say that this is your confirmation that she survived, but we don’t exactly think that the show was making that much of an effort to hide this at all.
