‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7: New preview brings the countdown closer

We’re just over three weeks away from the premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” season 7, and in the latest promo below for the show’s June 21 return, the folks over at Freeform do a pretty great job of hammering home just how terrible waiting can be.

We’re not going to sit here and say that there is anything altogether shocking or ground-breaking about this clip; however, we do have a lot of fun here with the way in which Spencer says “die,” almost she is mirroring the fan reaction of people frustrated with the rather lengthy wait until late June.

What we do know about the new season is that it is going to pick up with the Liars trying to sift through the aftermath of the end of this past season, where it was clear that there are many new threats and obstacles that will be rising to the surface rather quickly. They will have to figure out some new ways to survive, and also ways to ensure that they don’t run into any further trouble or have any suspicion pointed in their direction.

Is this the final season? There’s still nothing definitive out there on the subject, but if we were them, we’d say that it may be better to think that way now for the sake of ensuring there is closure. The last thing you want to do is leave things even remotely open-ended in some way.
