‘Mistresses’ season 4, episode 1 video: Karen dishes on her ‘manny’ problem

The fourth season of “Mistresses” is premiering on ABC Monday night, and based on the new sneak peek below, Karen is going to waste very little time discussing with some of the other women the problem that she has with her “manny” Robert.

Or, is it really a problem at all? Karen tells Joss and April that Robert tried to kiss her in an earlier scene, and they talk for a minute or two about the implications of such a move. While Robert may be attractive and charismatic, there is really no way that this could end well, right? That’s at least something that is considered here by the three ladies.

Regardless of what was said here, it feels clear that this is far from over. After all, Karen has an incentive to keep Robert around, even if she does not have feelings for him. After all, she has already used a wide array of different nannies since the child was born, and if Robert is good at the job, will she really be willing to ignore some personal indiscretions on his part? It’s certainly possible.

Ultimately, this just feels like classic “Mistresses,” a show that is juicy, romantic, and above all fun. It’s the perfect show for summer, when most viewers out there are looking for something a little more light and breezy, as opposed to something that is incredibly heavy and difficult to dive into or enjoy.
