‘The X Factor’ UK: Winner Louisa Johnson to perform on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final

The latest news -Clearly, Simon Cowell is still trying to come up with the best ways possible to make Louisa Johnson into a big star following her win on “The X Factor” this past season.

Today, it was confirmed that Louis will be debuting her new collaboration with Clean Bandit entitled “Tears” on the “Britain’s Got Talent” final this weekend. This is one of the most-watched events of British television, so there’s no doubting in our mind that this is a brilliantly smart move in an effort to get her more exposure. This song is technically a Clean Bandit song, but it is a chance to get her some more exposure before working to launch some more solo music.

To us, the biggest thing that Louisa can do at this point is have more fun; the biggest problem when it comes to her music on the show was mostly that so much of it was slow and dreary, and therefore not exactly the sort of thing that you really want or expect to hear from her given that you’re talking about someone who is still a teenager, and really should be making fun songs that get people excited. It’s a very different environment in pop radio in comparison to “The X Factor,” where so much of the show is about doing ballads.

Of course, we’re going to have so much more news when it comes to the “Britain’s Got Talent” final later this weekend, so stay tuned for that. At the moment, we really do not know for certain who is going to be declared the winner of the contest when the dust ultimately settles.
