‘Royal Pains’ season 8, episode 2 preview: Hank’s new date, and a hospital under attack

On this past episode of “Royal Pains,” we learnt a thing or two regarding how Hank was going to start to improve his life, away from of course his successful job. He worried that he was going to become just like his father to his new love interest Jen and her son, but with her son going away for the summer, it gives him a chance to test things out with her before the two start to get serious. Therefore, some of his concerns are alleviated, and the synopsis below for Wednesday’s “Palpating The Orbital Rim” clearly indicates that the two are going to have a chance to spend some time together:

“Hank treats a stuntwoman. Evan deals with a cyber-attack on Hamptons Heritage. Jeremiah’s parents visit and Divya helps them work through differences. Hank and Jen go on their first date.”

The other two major storylines in here were teased in the premiere, with Evan and the hospital attack in particular having some long-term consequences. For example, what in the world happens if it turns out that a certain political figure’s name gets out as a hospital patient? She could sue him into the ground for a breach of privacy, something that she insisted was very important to her. It’s even worse when you take a minute here and remember precisely why she is up against: Paige’s father. There are conflicts of interest all over the place here.

As for Jeremiah and his parents, all we know for know is that this looks like a rocky relationship.
