‘Iron Fist’ spoilers: ‘Jessica jones’ star Carrie-Anne Moss coming over

While the upcoming version of Marvel’s “Iron Fist” for Netflix will for the most part stand on its own from the rest of the streaming shows on there already, it looks like there will be an added treat for those of you who have also watched “Jessica Jones”: An appearance from a familiar face!

Carrie-Anne Moss has been officially tapped to reprise her role as attorney Jeri Hogarth in the new series, which is currently filming and will most-likely air at some point next year. (There’s no premiere date just yet.) Her character is also popular, and there is an established tie-in from the comics. As executive producer / Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb says in a statement, it all proved to be a perfect combination:

“Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street-level saga, and we share our viewers’ excitement in bringing her intoMarvel’s Iron Fist … As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand, so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in.”

“Game of Thrones” actor Finn Jones is slated to play Rand on this series, which we imagine is going to be fast-paced and fairly action-packed. Also, it’s going to make Jones a very busy man. As soon as this show is done filming, we imagine that some preparations will begin for “The Defenders,” that is the team-up series that has been teased featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist working with a common goal.
