‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 24 (finale) spoilers: A ‘Family Affair’ for Ellen Pompeo, cast

Next week, “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to come to a close, and it is doing so with an episode entitled “A Family Affair” that is going to try its best to resolve a wide array of storylines. We don’t imagine that it’s going to be particularly easy given everything that is still to come, and everything that could also be set up for the 13th season of the show. Nothing is confirmed yet as to who is returning, but for now, we assume most people are.

The synopsis below gives you a small sense as to what is coming up:

“Meredith and Maggie support Amelia on an important day; Jo reveals that she has been keeping secrets from Alex while Arizona and Callie deal with the impact of their custody arrangement. Meanwhile, Ben leaps into action to help a friend.”

Given that this is “Grey’s Anatomy,” it almost goes without saying that you could end up seeing a few more twists in this finale beyond just what we expect or envision right now. Just remember what we’ve come to know from this show! The promo below specifically references a few different events, whether it be Amelia apparently getting married to Owen, or April and Jackson getting ready to welcome their baby into the world. Let’s hope that the tone is at least slightly positive, which is what this promo suggests. Sure, that can be deceiving, but after everything we’ve been through this season, we’d rather have high hopes.
