‘Doctor Who’ season 10: Could Michelle Gomez eventually return as Missy?

Doctor Who -

Through her multiple appearances on “Doctor Who” over the past two seasons, Missy a.k.a. The Master has shown herself to be a really formidable opponent to The Doctor. However, it’s a little hard to know whether or not we will get a chance to see her again. Jenna Coleman (pictured about with Michelle Gomez and Peter Capaldi) has already departed the show, and since that time the BBC has already hired Pearl Mackie in order to replace her. There’s a whole lot changing about the show, and that is why we feel like there is a little bit of uncertainty regarding the future.

So as for whether or not Gomez would want to appear on the show moving forward, she’d certainly like to! Speaking to the Radio Times, the actress was coy about whether or not she has had any conversations with Steven Moffat or the other producers:

“Might have [had a conversation], might not have [had a conversation] … I hope to [come back, but] I mean you just never know. They do keep their cards close to their chest.”

Unfortunately, we may be waiting for a rather long stretch of time in order to know one way or another as to whether or not we’re going to see more of Gomez on the show. Season 10 is not going to premiere on BBC One / BBC America until early next year; there will be a Christmas Special before that, so we suppose that could be the earliest we get an answer.
