‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Is Booth working with the Secret Service?
While we do see the cast of “Bones” take on a wide array of different stories every single season, seeing one involve the President in some way is something new for the show. Yet, that is precisely what we are going to see in the upcoming episode entitled “The Secret in the Service,” which is airing on Fox come Thursday, May 26.
Let’s not waste too much time here, mostly because the synopsis below does a good job of not only setting up the story for Booth and Brennan, but also some progress for Hodgins … potentially. he’s taking a big risk as he tries to continue his recovery, and while that makes us worry, we’re glad that the show is not just making it into a one or two-episode storyline:
“A drunk college student discovers the dead body of a Secret Service agent just before a presidential visit to the area. Booth is ready to hit the ground running and turns to Secret Service agent and former colleague Brandt Walker (guest star Michael Gaston) for information, but is surprised to learn the Secret Service has reservations about Booth’s involvement in the case. The team uncovers some shocking evidence that heightens the seriousness of the case, causing Booth to step up for his country. Meanwhile, Brennan is out sick with the flu and former intern Dr. Colin Fisher (guest star Joel David Moore) returns to the Jeffersonian to run lead on the case, but Brennan refuses to be kept out of the loop. Also, Hodgins takes his life into his own hands and turns a corner after a potentially dangerous experiment.”
One thing that may excite some fans out there is the mere thought of this being far from the end of the road when it comes to episodes for the show this season. Based on the current schedule, it appears that we’re going to get many more mysteries extending well into the summer; depending on when Fox decides to premiere the final season, there may not be took much waiting in between!
